“mapping” Is a series of work  tracing back the places I grew up in Holland. 
Starting with drawing in red or black ink, I work intuitively remembering streets, parks and towns. This is the place I grew up in The Netherlands. Inspired by my old geology book “bosatlas” from1966 and google maps I mask the layers using diffrent medias from gels, beeswax and oil paint, showing the growth of the increasing population.
